So if the multi cloud Strategy is their competitive edge what happens if other cloud infrastructure providers also offer this possibility?

Fair question I should have probably addressed sooner. First of all, Oracle has designed its infrastructure exactly so that it works well with other vendors. This isnt something the likes of Microsoft and Amazon can change overnight.

Oracle has a big leap here. On top of this, it is what enables it to continue benefiting from its massive enterprise software customer base, which is what makes the edge. This wont be hurt by others doong the same.

And finally, its comepetitive edge is more than just enabling multi-cloud. Its security, speed, and price are unequaled as well.

I dont think there is too much to worry about here.
