The solar energy market still has a tremendous growth outlook, whether you like it or not Solar energy is seen as one of the most promising sectors for the future (or least promising by some others) due to the simple fact that we need to move to alternative energy options over time. For the oil lovers out there, I am not saying oil will disappear any time soon, but we do need to keep investing in renewable technologies as well!
Thanks a lot! Is it more reliable to just buy TAN or ICLN ETF and hold or DCA until 2030 and beyond? Also, your thoughts on FSLR? Valuation is better than ENPH.
Thanks for the comment! First of all, buying a solar ETF and DCAing is probably the most low-risk way to gather solid exposure to solar, although these ETFs often aren't that well diversified and contain many stocks I wouldn't necessarily want to own. That makes it a bit tough.
Personally, I would probably go with two to four top picks. Enphase and First Solar should be among those.
As for First Solar, this one is looking even better than Enphase currently. Just a terrific company. I will cover it in depth soon, but yes, I do own the shares.

Ha, indeed, never investment advice(!), but that's what I am doing personally.
